First Choice has appointed Commission Junction to manage its affiliate programme for the next 12 months.
The move follows a decision by TUI Travel to try to consolidate its online marketing brief to fewer suppliers.
Commission Junction has worked with Thomson Holidays and other brands within the portfolio for the past seven years.
TUI affiliate manager Charlie Range said affiliate marketing was new to First Choice at the beginning of this year but already accounts for about 15% of the brand’s online marketing budget.
She anticipated the figure would increase further next year as First Choice concentrates on its core family market through affiliate marketing on content sites.
Ranger added that the move to Commission Junction had also been prompted with the company’s recent partnership with feed-specialist FusePump.
