Travel planning specialist TripIt has expanded its mobile offering to include an application for Android devices.

The free service is in beta and follows the company’s launch of an iPhone application in April.

The iPhone application has also been upgraded to support TripIt Pro users as well as offer a number of other travel tools.

The company is also working on a service for Blackberry devices with launch planned before the end of the year.
