Russian domestic airline S7 has joined forces with Mobile Travel Technologies to unveil a range of mobile services.
The services enable passengers to book, check-in and select a seat as well as access up-to-date flight arrival and departure information.
The development of a mobile offering from the airline is in response to the growth in mobile internet users and eMarketer predicts a 480% growth in the next four years.
The S7 service is available in English, German and Russian and the technology recognises the geographic location of customers and directs them to the correct language version.
The mobile website, accessible by entering s7.ru into a mobile device, is also integrated into S7 priority, the airline’s frequent flyer programme.
Additional functionality includes a ‘click to call’ link to contact the airlines call-centre.
