Expedia Affiliate Network (EAN) has today announced the appointment of its new VP for EMEA, Sean McDonald.


In his new role, McDonald will be responsible for driving the continued growth of the EAN business across the EMEA territories. He will oversee the smooth running of existing partner relationships and retention as well as directing the new business acquisition. McDonald will report directly into EAN president Henrik Kjellberg.

McDonald brings to EAN more than 12 years of online and consulting experience and joins the business from IT research and advisory company Gartner where he held the position of Group Vice President of Sales EMEA. Prior to joining Gartner, McDonald held roles at Meta Group, an IT research and consulting firm acquired by Gartner in late 2004 and Sumitomo Corporation trading in non-ferrous metals such as copper, aluminium and titanium.
