Hotel search site to pay partners for downtime

Australian vertical-search business Hotelscombined.com is to compensate affiliates if its website is unavailable.

Australian vertical-search business Hotelscombined.com is to compensate affiliates if its website is unavailable.

Hotelscombined described the service-level agreement (SLA) as a first in the hotel/affiliates sector. In the event of the site being unavailable for an extended period of time, the agreement states: “100% of the missed commission earnings will be credited to the partner account”.

Adam Zebrowski, Hotelscombined.com affiliate manager for business, said: “Other travel affiliate programmes offer no protection against internet failures, server downtime or even shoddy programming.”
