John Ryan has been named director of Orbitz Worldwide hotel supplier relations in Europe as the former US airline booking portal strengthens its focus on hotels.
Ryan was director of hotel product at Opodo from 2003 to 2006 and has also worked for hotel chains including Radisson, Le Meridien and Concorde.
He will also oversee relations with hotels in the Middle East and Africa.
