Dolphin Dynamics launches TravelScanner tool
Travel software company Dolphin Dynamics has launched a new product – TravelScanner – to allow agents to search and book online fares.
The system follows the success of its FlightScanner system and will also give agents the ability to search and book car hire, insurance and tailor-made package holidays.
TravelScanner will also include a “pricing and mark-up engine” so agents can create their own cost plan.
Dolphin Dynamics said Roberto Da Re said: “Traditionally agents have had to book using one system and fulfil from another, now Dolphin’s integrated solution means they can make and manage bookings through their entire lifecycle in a single system.”
The new system will be incorporated into Dolphin’s existing Travel Manager system and will be browser-based for agents.
Dolphin has installed its FlightScanner and Travel Manager packages to the likes of EBookers, STA Travel, TUI UK, RCI and Globespan.
