Press release: AA and Expedia announce white label deal

From today, users of www.theAA.com will be able to book UK hotel accommodation following a white label deal with Expedia Affiliate Network (EAN)

From today, users of www.theAA.com will be able to book UK hotel accommodation following a white label deal with Expedia Affiliate Network (EAN).

The main focus for the partnership will be on AA rated hotels, but users will be able to access Expedia’s full offering of hotel and bed and breakfast accommodation in the UK.

The hotel search function will be combined with the AA’s route planner facility so users will be able to search and book hotels available on their journey.

EAN Business Development Director EMEA Cameron Jones said, “There is a natural synergy between travel and the AA and we are pleased to see this partnership come to fruition. The AA had very clear ideas on what they wanted to offer their customers and the flexibility of the EAN white label solution was key in being able to support this.”

AA Travel Partnerships Commercial Director Chris Simmonds said, “It was natural for us to engage a hotel partner that could offer a white label solution which could be easily integrated into our website, but also one that could supply us with the tailored offering that matched our users’ needs.

“The fact that we could combine EAN’s market leading product offering with our popular travel calendar to give each customer a unique selection of properties based on their particular route was extremely attractive to us. We look forward to working with EAN.”

Currently EAN works with more than 10,000 private label partners across the globe.

Expedia Affiliate Network president Henrik Kjellberg told Travolution earlier this year that there is “no technical limit” to how many websites the business can work with.
