The Institute of Travel and Tourism is to hold its second Question Time at World Travel Market.

The ITT has already announced plans to hold a series of nationwide Question Time events, based on the popular TV show. The first is to be held in Manchester on September 29.

Chairman Steven Freudmann has now revealed plans to hold the second event on Tuesday, November 10 on the main stage at the UK’s largest travel trade show WTM, held at London’s ExCel exhibition centre.

The event will be moderated by The Times columnist Tim Hames and will cover topical issues affecting the travel industry. Speakers have yet to be lined up for the event.

Freudmann said: “This will build on a big, new presence for the ITT at WTM.”

ITT is running specialist travel agent sessions on Thursday, November 12. These will focus on helping agents to maximise sales and how they deal with customers during the recession.

Meanwhile, Freudmann has been awarded an honorary degree in business administration by Leeds Metropolitan University. He set up a formal partnership between ITT and Leeds Met.
