The Ritz will be using TravelCLICK’s recently unveiled Social Media Optimization service which will provide the hotel with a customized strategy targeting the most relevant sites
TravelCLICK’s digital marketing team will work with The Ritz to build the right social network presence using user-generated content across all media, from blogs to guest review sites and digital viral content.
The strategy includes Facebook to provide news about special events and promotions, London travel tips, and engaging fans and guests.
Twitter will also be used for last-minute promotions, customer relations, and guest feedback.
Ruth Jones, director of mrketing for The Ritz said: “With SMO, we can begin our next evolution of customer engagement. Social sites are a perfect forum for feedback on our brand as well as ideas for improving the guest experience.”
The Ritz already uses TravelCLICK’s distribution solution including its iHotelier reservation system and its iStay online booking engine.
