Ticketmaster-Priceline tie-up expected to reach Europe
Priceline.com has become the official travel partner for Ticketmaster in the US, with the relationship possibly extending to other territories in the future.
In response to emailed questions, a Priceline.com spokesperson told Travolution: “Right now, were focused on providing US residents with travel arrangements to US event venues.
“As we continue to roll this out, our intention is to expand our offerings internationally, both in terms of the travel arrangements we provide and the customer bases we aim to reach.”
In a joint release, Priceline and Ticketmaster said fans using Ticketmaster.com will gain access to Priceline’s suite of travel services, including specially tailored hotel, airline, and rental car offers to accompany their live event ticket purchases.
Ticketmaster.co.uk has a Shopping Partners box on its home page which currently features links to Superbreak, National Express and Expedia.
