Bedbank and Twik Travel unite for inventory share deal
Accommodation website Bedbank.net has strucka deal with Kwik Travel to supply retailers and homeworkers with its portfolio of products.
The partnership will see Benbank.net become the only provider of accommodation-only inventory to Kwik Travel, which in turn will push its own accommodation onto Bedbank’s online service.
Twik Travel homeworkers will access to the Bedbank inventory through a new white label system called Kwikbeds.com.
Bedbank, a join venture between Future Travel and technology company The Vertical Group, is hoping to see a revenue increase of around £7 million on the back of the deal with Kwik Travel.
Chief executive Peter Healey said: “These sorts of partnerships are exactly what agents should be seeking going forward.
“The deal is mutually beneficial and marries sophisticated booking technology with massive bed stock in the best destinations.”
