Expedia Affiliate Network (EAN) has signed its most daredevil white label deal to date by partnering with the Red Bull Air Race World Championship to provide the complete spectrum of travel requirements to those who follow this worldwide competition.

The deal marks the first time that the Red Bull Air Race World Championship has worked with a white label partner to provide a one stop shop for flights, hotel accommodation, transfers and tickets to its worldwide events.

Fans of the adrenalin fuelled races, which take place throughout the year in San Diego (9 and 10 May), Windsor, Ontario (13 and 14 June), Budapest (19 and 20 August), Porto (12 and 13 September) and Barcelona (3 and 4 October), will be able to access EAN’s market leading travel offering through the Red Bull Air Race’s official website redbullairrace.com.

With unrivalled hotel offering in the key Air Race cities, the co-branded partnership marks a further expansion for EAN in Europe into markets outside of the traditional travel arena and joins Formula1 and Moto GP as current partners in the motor sports market.

Adriaan Thierry, marketing and ticketing director for Red Bull Air Race, said: “The Red Bull Air Race World Championship has a huge and highly dedicated army of fans who follow the event around the world. It made complete sense for us to develop our website into a one stop shop for these fans to book their travel and race tickets. Because of the size and scale of the events it was important for us to find a partner that could adequately deal with the volumes of travellers and could provide an extensive breadth of flight and accommodation options. The Expedia Affiliate Network’s white label solution fitted the bill exactly.”

Cameron Jones, business development director, EAN EMEA, commented: “The addition of the Red Bull Air Race to our stable of more extreme white label partners is part of EAN’s continued strategy of expansion and diversification of the white label and affiliate business throughout the EMEA region. The quality and choice of the Expedia product offering as well our ability to offer extensive flight and hotel options in the Red Bull Air Race destinations was key in securing this partnership. EAN has proven time and again its expertise in designing white label solutions that are bespoke to our partner’s needs and that drive significant ancillary revenues.”

Currently EAN works with more than 10,000 private label partners across the globe including Greenbee, Avis, Tiscali, Eurostar, Lonely Planet, Formula1, Moto GP, fish4 and Sky as well as 20 airline partners throughout EMEA including Pegasus Airlines, Norwegian Air Shuttle, SAS and bmi.
