STA Travel has started the roll out of its multi-million pound re-brand with the opening of its first new look branch and unveiling of its re-designed website.

The re-brand is designed to appeal to a wider audience and position STA Travel as a global travel expert providing unique experiences for everyone.

The first new look branch, which is now open in Sheffield, has a wide range of features designed to enhance the booking experience and inspire travellers looking for a distinctive travel experience.

From large scale, visually impactful images showcasing the wealth of global travel experiences to a designated self discovery centre, the new branch helps travellers define what they want from their trip.

Self serve interactive consoles enable customers to browse the STA Travel offer online before speaking to a travel specialist and embedded globes at all consultation tables makes the trip planning process more interesting and exciting.

Other interactive features include the ‘Know it Wall’, a colour coded world map that allows STA Travel customers to easily collate information and knowledge about their preferred destination and the 24 hour digital price board which is constantly updated with the best world travel offers.

The website is also fully re-branded with a host of new interactive features to help travellers make informed decisions about their trips and adventures.  This includes the integration of social network content from STA explorers, currently housed on statravelbuzz.co.uk, unique destination content written by STA specialists who have independent, first hand knowledge of the wide range of travel experiences available and enhanced user interactivity and site navigation.

Other online features will be rolled out over the coming months such as user generated reviews allowing travellers to add and augment their own experiences.

John Constable, managing director at STA Travel, said: “The re-brand of STA Travel is designed to attract a wider audience and create an experience that is entirely relevant to what our customers want.  By visualising the travel experience and providing specialist knowledge and expertise we can help our customers make informed decisions and get the best out of their trip.

“The opening of our new look Sheffield branch and the unveiling of our website is the first stage in the roll out of STA Travel’s global brand re-launch and it’s a very exciting time for us.”
