Germanwings is the first German partner to provide its online customers with Isango’s prebookable local content in the country.
The low-cost airline is also the first in the sector to embrace offering activities as an ancillary service.
The partnership opens up a new revenue stream for the airline through cross-selling opportunities and adds value to its consumers.
Germanwings senior vice president marketing and sales, Gregor Schlüter, said: “Our customers are active during their holidays and want to discover Europe. We believe they will respond with enthusiasm to the wide product range of isango!”
Isango European vice president, Danele Beccari, said the airline was a trusted brand to launch its B2B offering through.
The tour and experiences specialist launched its German version site last August followed by a French release in December.
