Leading UK accommodation provider Discover Travel & Tours has expanded its online hospitality supply portfolio by acquiring the accommodation only specialist, Bedsearcher.
The development expands the online marketing reach of hospitality providers already partnered with Bedsearcher and offers additional room bookings and higher occupancy rates to accommodation businesses keen to gain extra trade.
Discover Travel & Tours also operates Discover Global Bookings, whose web-based booking platform feeds into all four travel trade global distribution systems (Amadeus, Galileo, Sabre and Worldspan) via a reservation and distribution technology switch. Discover Global Bookings also exploits a variety of digital distribution channels to ensure a client reach of over 5,000 consumer-led holiday websites worldwide. Website coverage includes market leaders such as Travelocity and Orbitz.
