Travelsupermarket is to include a new search channel for in-resort services after signing a major deal with specialist agency Isango.

The two-year partnership will see Isango power a dedicated section – Tours and Activities – on the Travelsupermarket website alongside the existing meta search facilities for flights, hotels and car hire.

The service was previously run by Viator.

The relaunch of the channel sees the UK meta search engine remain as the only leading site with a dedicated platform for destination services.

Travelsupermarket business development manager, Bob Atkinson, said: “This new partnership with Isango represents our commitment to an end-to-end customer service offering, that provides not only value for money, but breadth, relevance and inspiration.

“Isango was the obvious partner given their product range and market leadership – but also their interest in working with us on the strategic marketing of ‘reasons to travel’ and using this as a spring board for other product sales.”

The deal is the latest in a line of commercial deals for Isango with third party websites.

The company powers similar channels for Ryanair and Jet2.com.

Jess Butcher, head of partnerships for Isango, added: “We’re very excited to be working with Travelsupermarket, one of the leading travel brands in the UK and one that’s not only forged the way but continues to lead the pack in travel meta-search.

“We look forward to working closely with them to maximise the partnership by offering product-relevance and inspirational content-value to the travelsupermarket.com audience.”
