Lastminute.com has unveiled the first stages of a major overhaul of its website with a new homepage.
The redesign work was first showcased at an event during the ABTA Travel Convention in October last year.
Lastminute.com has overhauled the navigation and search functionality, widened the main viewing section and increased media space for advertisers.
The new look will be fully live within the next few weeks.
Lastminute.com head of site Leah Russell said: “Lastminute.com aims to help customers make the most of their free time with new, creative and unexpected ideas for every single day.
“Being an inspirational brand the functional search box has been moved to a less prominent position to allow for more ideas and deals.
“The focus groups and usability testing showed customers prefer this layout as they fear missing out on inspirational ideas and deals by just using the search box.”
