International Passenger Protection Ltd (IPP) announces the launch of an affiliate program on their benchmark direct sell website ProtectMyHoliday.com.

The website allows members of the public to protect themselves against the financial failure of travel companies for as little as £5 per person.

The affiliates program allows companies to receive a commission per policy sold following a referral from their own website.

Suppliers of elements of the holiday which can be protected include:

Airlines
Hotels, youth hostels, car ferries, villas abroad & cottages in the UK, railway journeys (including Eurostar)
Coach journeys
Cruises not bonded
Car hire
Caravan sites / campsites / mobile homes
Camper rental
Euro tunnel
Theme parks such as Disneyland Paris

IPP director of international risks, Paul McLean said: “As worldwide leaders in providing insolvency and default insurance to the travel industry we are constantly looking for ways to provide the peace of mind the public demands, especially in the current climate with travel firms collapsing at an alarming rate.

“The Affiliate program is very quick and easy to arrange and will allow travel companies to create a new lucrative revenue stream with no work and give their clients the opportunity to arrange protection which they otherwise may not have known was available.”

Unlike similar products in the market, the IPP policy does not have an excess , or clauses such as a 7 or 14 day cancellation for the Insurer. Also in the event of a claim they do not require written evidence from the official liquidator, a stipulation which could take the policyholder months to obtain (if ever).

The policy’s security is from A rated (Standard and Poors) Insurers with a combined net worth of over Euro 100 billion and policy issue is directly between the applicant and IPP so FSA regulation is not required for the referral site.
