Skyscanner adds analytics

Flight search specialist Skyscanner is to track the revenue it creates for airlines following a partnership with Lynchpin Analytics.

Using Lynchpin’s tracking technology solution Skyscanner will be able to show new airlines on the system the qualified traffic, bookings and revenue it can generate for them.

Lynchpin’s system will transparently link the airline’s revenue directly back to its source. Managing director Andrew Hood said many airlines do not have the analytics needed to gain a clear picture of the traffic and revenue from search partners.
