Leading bedbank hotels4u.com has announced the appointment of John Riley as its new head of product and planning.

In this newly created role, Riley will be responsible for maintaining and developing hotel4u.com’s product offering.

Reporting directly to managing director, Haim Perry, Riley will be looking to maximise opportunities from hotels4u.com’s existing product range, while identifying product areas for future development and expansion.

Riley has extensive experience working with some of the UK’s largest travel businesses, including a period as product and commercial director for Cadogan Holidays.

Prior to this, Riley worked as a general manager for First Choice/Unijet and as head of marketing at the then MyTravel owned brands Panorama and Manos.

Riley started out his career in travel at the International Leisure Group (ILG).

Perry commented: “We’re pleased to welcome John Riley to the hotels4u.com team.

The role of head of product and planning is a unique one in the bedbank industry and indicative of our dedication to grow hotels4u.com’s product offering further, in order to continue to provide agents with the most flexible and varied property portfolio possible.”

Riley added: “I am delighted to be joining hotels4u.com, especially at this exciting stage of the company’s development. I am looking forward to applying the experience I’ve gained throughout my career in the travel industry to take hotels4u.com’s product offering forward and maintain its status as the UK’s leading bedbank.”
