Price comparison site Travelsupermarket.com has boosted its flight search capability by signing up CT2 and Loco to its portfolio of products.

The addition of the Manchester-based tour operator and charter flight-only company will add greater flexibility to regional users of the site, Travelsupermarket said.

The move is the latest in a string of new inventory added to the site in recent months and marks further growth in the price comparison market.

CT2 and Loco run charter flights and holidays from most UK airports to locations on the Mediterranean coast and the Canary Islands.

IT Director Graham Currey said: “We took bookings on both brands within minutes of going live and are now enjoying the benefits of distributing our flight only products to a much broader audience than before.

Travelsupermarket recently launched its firsty above-the-lone advertising campaign on television, marking a concerted effort by the North West-based company to push its brand into new markets. Within weeks of the campaign’s first airing a new competitor arrived in the price comparison market – a venture capital-backed website called Henoo.com.

Travelsupermarket director Chris Nixon added: “Fast sales successes are the key to our success in securing new providers and retaining our existing partners, as we continue our long-term campaign to work with as many travel company partners as possible.”
