P&O recently relaunched its main website and will now implement a usability programme with consumers to evaluate the impact of the significant changes made to the user experience.
Elliott Pritchard, new media manager at P&O Cruises, said: “Website user experience is crucial in our industry and it is important that all website developments are made with the users’ needs in mind.
“Webcredible’s track record in the online travel sector makes it the perfect partner to carry out this usability testing and help prioritise future user-centered developments.”
The usability firm recently picked up new business from Mr & Mrs Smith and Kuoni.
Trenton Moss, director at Webcredible, said: “User experience is crucial when it comes to websites, particularly in a sector as competitive as online travel and P&O Cruises understands that future site developments must have usability at the forefront of the proposition.
“This project is testament to our expertise in the online travel sector and our experience will be key to helping P&O Cruises achieve its website goals.”
