Henoo.com joins growing meta search market

Henoo.com, a new travel price comparison site, has been unveiled for the first time this week by the Internet Business Group.

The site will initially carry the details of 1 million package holidays channelled through its own affiliate advertising company, AffiliateFuture, which includes deals on the MyTravel network.

Henoo.com said it would be looking to expand the network to include other operators in the future.

AffiliateFuture will only take a payment from the advertiser at the point of purchase, Henoo.com said.

The launch of Henoo.com is the first time IBG, an AIM-listed e-commerce company, as branched out into travel. Its consumer division includes Sweatband.com, Gadget Hub, Plentypoints.com and MP3PlayerDeals.co.uk.

The AffiliateFuture business includes MyTravel, Lowcostbeds.com, Priceline.co.uk, Aspro Holidays, Manos, Panorama Holidays and Going Places among its roster of clients.

IBG chairman Maziar Darvish said: “The launch of Henoo.com showcases our strength in travel advertising online, and is in line with our strategy of leveraging our knowledge and experience of online business to build high margin, automated divisions with substantial growth opportunities.”

Henoo.com will join the likes of Travelsupermarket.com and Kelkoo.co.uk on burgeoning list of price comparison sites.
