Car rental technology and distribution company, Argus Car Hire, has selected unique, portfolio-based technology from Search Engine Marketing specialist, Efficient Frontier, to manage its international Search campaigns across Google, Microsoft and Yahoo!.
Dublin-based organisation, Argus Car Hire, provides a next-generation global car rental distribution system.
Its model enables its 1500 partners, including more than 95 international airlines, to access pricing, availability and bookings from over 450 car rental suppliers globally in real-time, from within their existing sites.
By integrating Argus Car Hire technology into booking engines, customers facilitate the dynamic cross-selling of car rental as part of their own offering. Argus Car Hire is currently expanding its operations to Australia, New Zealand, South Africa and across Europe.
Emma Coakley, online brand manager of Argus Car Hire, said: “Our Company is continuously looking to expand. Pay per click is going to be a serious part of our online strategy in 2009. As we’re very keen to leverage search, the search management technology we chose was always going to be key to the success of our marketing campaign.”
Coakley is confident that Efficient Frontier’s unique technology will provide Argus Car Hire with the 30% uplift in ROI that it needs to support its strategic expansion into new international territories.
Having experienced a 40-50% growth over the past year and now turning over £60million, Argus Car Hire has bucked the slowing economy trend and requires a system both scalable and flexible enough to accommodate its changing profile.
