Until now the video platform has been used on the Fresh Holidays consumer site but OHG is turning to agents to post their own video clip reviews.
The company has also joined forces with gazetteers.com – sister content brand of Travolution – to post the video reviews on the site as well as enabling agents to upload them to holidaybrokers.co.uk so they can be used as a selling tool.
OHG sales director Brian Young said agents with a web-cam could easily record reviews and upload them via a three-step process.
He also said the company was launching a competition for the agent who posts the best review to win £5,000 with a plan to announce the winner at Travel Weekly’s Globe Awards in January.
The Holiday Brokers sales team will also be travelling to call-centres and agencies to help agents create their video reviews.
The company is also launching TV news bulletins for agents to log into daily and get an update on top selling destinations, reviews from experts and tips from overseas reps.
