Online destination experience agency Isango has secured a major distribution deal through a partnership with the Accor group of hotel brands.
The agency will provide content and products on a dedicated Tours and Activities channel on the accorhotels.com website – feeding into other Accor-owned brands such as Sofitel, Pullman, Novotel, Mercure, Suitehotel, Ibis, Etap Hotel and Formula 1.
The deal is being billed as a first for the hotel sector as it uses the Isango Gold Label system of XML feeds and integration to cross-sell destination services against existing products.
Dirk von Bassewitz, director of content and new media for Accor, said: “We want to make the booking experience more complete and efficient by gathering more and more additional contents and services related to the trip.
“In this context we’re confident that Isango – with their many exciting experiences and deep expertise in all of our top destinations worldwide – will increase our customer satisfaction.”
The deal is the latest in a line of partnerships for Isango including a major product feed to Ryanair.com signed earlier this year.
