Ireland-based Directski.com has developed a business-to-business accommodation system targeting the trade.

Through the B2B bedbank the company is looking to open up its specialist accommodation as well as transfers, ski packs and lift passes to other parts of the world.

The API is available via Multicom, Comtec and Traveltek as well as via direct connect technology.

According to chief technical officer Dermot McNally the company is already in talks with third parties about taking the API.

Directski employed the Torix message system developed by the Travel Technology Initiative to create the B2B service.

McNally said: “What we’re offering is a ground package. We have become a bedbank but we have contracted accommodation that is just not out there.

Directski will provide third parties with net rates, which they can add a commission to.

The B2B services covers 220 resorts with additional properties added in Switzerland, Austria and France.
