CarTrawler has today signed a multi year agreement with Norwegian low cost carrier Norwegian.com to exclusively provide car rental content across all its sales channels.
Norwegian.com , one of Europe’s largest low cost carriers which operates 162 routes to 87 destinations from hubs in Norway, Sweden and Poland, will use the CarTrawler distribution system and its Koios revenue management tools to seamlessly offer car rental from all the top European car hire brands in an unbiased display and within the air booking process on the carrier’s award winning website.
Commenting on the deal, Lars Sande, sales director of Norwegian.com, stated: “In CarTrawler, we have found a company that understands the airline ancillary revenue model as well as having an inside track on the car hire business. Their ability to integrate car rental content from a long list of top quality car hire companies – seamlessly – into all our passenger touch points will deliver a significant boost to our non air revenue.”
