Holiday home rental company Euro Relais has struck a deal with Google to incorporate images from the search giant’s Earth tool into its website.

The company’s range of locations, covering 6,000 cottages, villas and chalets across Europe, have been directly linked into Google Earth and replicated within the main Eurorelais.com site.

Users will be able to navigate around the system from within the site, in the same way as the existing Google Earth tool.

All accommodation is highlighted on the maps and users will be offered details, price and availability of each holiday home via a pop-up box.

The deal follows a similar package signed between holiday giant Thomson to incorporate its holiday locations into the Google Earth system.

“Google is continually modifying geographical information; gradually more details will appear on the landscape and surrounding area of holidays home, providing the customer with precise information and optimal holiday planning,” Eurorelais said.

The Netherlands-based company, which recently began a concerted effort to target UK consumers, celebrated its 25th anniversary last year.
