Travelzoo, a global Internet media company, today announced that its European publications now reach an audience of over two million weekly unduplicated subscribers.


Publications include the Travelzoo Top 20 list in the UK, France, Germany and Spain and Newsflash, a regionally targeted travel alert service available in 17 local markets across Europe.


In the last 12 months, one million new European subscribers have signed up to receive Travelzoo email publications, doubling Travelzoo’s European reach.


Active unduplicated weekly subscribers by market are now: 1,050,000 in the UK; 575,000 in France; 355,000 in Germany and 80,000 in Spain.


The average age of a Travelzoo European subscriber* is 46. Average household income for all subscribers across Europe is £35,280 per annum. 56% of Travelzoo subscribers are married and 28% have children under the age of 18.


1,186 travel companies have advertised with Travelzoo in Europe. Pan-European brands including British Airways, Lufthansa, Starwood Hotels & Resorts, Hilton International and Corinthia Hotels International leverage Travelzoo’s pan-regional reach to promote offers across multiple markets.


Leading tour operators and travel agents such as Olympic Holidays in the UK, AIDU in Germany and Voyages-SNCF in France only promote offers to Travelzoo subscribers in their local markets.
