LateRooms.com, the UK’s leading online accommodation site, today announces it has acquired – Hotels-London.co.uk, a London hotel booking specialist.

LateRooms will capitalise on the established reputation of Hotels-London which was established c. 1998. Hotels-London will continue to operate under its current trading name and will be managed as a separate entity. Both companies have similar business models which will serve to complement each other.

With an estimated 26 million people visiting London in 2008, Hotels-London will strengthen LateRooms’ position in the UK marketplace offering a strong catalogue of London hotels attracting over 180,000 visitors a month.

James Pogson, who will be leading the business on behalf of LateRooms, said: “We are very excited about the acquisition and will aim to make Hotels-London an even greater success. With LateRooms’ vast experience in the hotel sector and Hotels-London’s strong position in the London market, it’s a very exciting time for both companies.  At LateRooms we offer a vast range of accommodation to suit our customers’ needs, so this partnership will further enhance our presence and expand our product offering.”

Harrison Brown, founder of Hotels-London commented: “We are delighted that Hotels-London will continue to see development and growth under LateRooms. As part of a wider group we’re certain the business will benefit from a wealth of experience, adding value for both hoteliers and customers of Hotels-London.”
