All Nippon appoints social agency to raise brand awareness

A social media and influencer marketing campaign is to be instigated to raise awareness of All Nippon Airways in Europe.

A social media and influencer marketing campaign is to be instigated to raise awareness of All Nippon Airways in Europe.

Social media agency Digital Visitor has been appointed to enhance the Japanese carrier’s reputation in the European marketplace.

The airline’s EMEA senior vice president and London general manager, Akira Nakamura, said: “As the largest airline in Japan, it’s important that our online strategy – including social media and influencer marketing – reflects the ever-changing face of the digital landscape, reinforcing our position of global leadership in the industry.

“We needed an agency that understood our target market of European business and leisure customers visiting Japan.

“But more importantly, we needed an agency whose approach involved a blend of cutting-edge and tried-and-tested digital tactics in line with our objectives.”

Digital Visitor managing director, Anthony Rawlins, added: “Having worked closely with Visit Japan and other international travel and tourism organisations, we believe Digital Visitor is the perfect fit for ANA.
