Visit Austria has appointed social media specialists Cult LDN to promote the country as a year-round destination.
Kicking off the partnership, Cult has developed a series of influencer based Facebook canvas ads.
Cult has worked with travel blogger, Velvet Escape (Keith Jenkins), to create a series of mini-stories which share his experiences of Austria.
These include a visit to Vienna walking around the Prater Park and drinking cocktails and travels around the South Styria wine producing region.
The campaign, which targets towards UK residents aged 25-65, showcase some of the cultural, sporting and leisure activities which can be experienced outside the normal Winter tourism season.
It is part Austria’s wider #AustrianTime campaign, and is supported by content on Jenkins‘ own channels. The canvas ads will run for 4 days, each day corresponding to a different day of his trip.

“Facebook Canvas offer an easy and creative way to offer our audience a more interactive experience with our brand. It allows useful information to be presented in a visually appealing and user-friendly environment.
“We are happy to have worked with Cult to bring our Canvas alive and be amongst the first brands in the travel industry to have tested this new Facebook tool.”
