Cabfind eyes growth after moving into new offices in the Wirral

UK-based ground transportation technology specialist Cabfind.com has moved into new offices having been given the support of growth grant from Wirral Council.

UK-based ground transportation technology specialist Cabfind.com has moved into new offices having been given the support of growth grant from Wirral Council.

The firm itself has invested in six figure sum into its new base on Birkenhead that was officially opened by the mayor of Wirral, councillor Pat Hackett this week.

Chris Jordan, managing director of Cabfind.com, said: “We are thankful for the tremendous support given by Wirral Council; the financial investment provided will go a long way in ensuring we can continue to help shape Wirral as a leading business destination.

“The new headquarters marks a tremendous period of growth for Cabfind.com, we are committed to investing in and developing the business in Wirral, we are hoping to create 20 new jobs over the coming business year.”

Cabfind.com provides the private hire and ground transportation firms in the UK with an online booking and billing platform.

It claims to have unrivaled access to a virtual fleet of 160,000 vehicles, through its UK wide network of 2,300 suppliers.

In February 2015, Cabfind.com was acquired by one of the world’s leading transport companies, Transdev enabling it to increase its supplier network.

Speaking at the office opening, chief executive of Transdev, Nigel Stevens, said: “We appreciate the investment from Wirral Council and recognise the support offered to Transdev PLC. Our positive relationship provides a platform for Cabfind.com to continue to drive growth and create more jobs in Wirral.”
