Island Cruises break £1m monthly web revenue barrier

Digital agency Five by Five has worked with Island Cruises on developing its web presence for the last five years and, with the continued growth of online sales, identified a need for the website to be reviewed and developed.

After a full usability review interviewing stakeholders and end users and listening-in at the call centre, the end result was an HTML website with Flash elements; AA compliant, with a comprehensive content management system, full tracking and reporting.

The new and improved website has increased online revenue by nearly 2000% and has recently helped Island Cruises to break the £1m monthly revenue barrier.

This milestone has been achieved under the guidance of Tom Brett, Head of Marketing at Island Cruises, who also managed to find the time to achieve a personal milestone by swimming The Channel at the end of July.
