Flight Centre appoints Pete Stephens as corporate CTO

Pete Stephens has been named by Flight Centre Travel Group as corporate chief technology officer for the Europe and Africa regions.

Pete Stephens has been named by Flight Centre Travel Group as corporate chief technology officer for the Europe and Africa regions.

He will work across all brands serving the group’s business customers, including FCM Travel Solutions, Corporate Traveller, Flight Centre Business Travel, Stage & Screen and cievents.

Stephens also joins the brand’s corporate technology ‘super group,’ working with technology and product teams to ensure end-to-end alignment, design, build and delivery of systems are of the highest standards.

His digital consultancy experience spans 28 years, including co-founding a number of digital start-ups and a technology spin-out from British Telecom’s research and development labs, which was acquired by a large Silicon Valley tech corporation.

He worked for British Aerospace and the technology consultancy Logica (now CGI) where he designed and built new technology systems for blue chip and government organisations.
