The company, which offers stays in private homes, was recently acquired by French hotel group AccorHotels, already a BHA member.

Rome was recently added to the onefinestay portfolio, joining Los Angeles, London, Paris and New York, where the company has more than 2,600 handpicked homes for short-term rental.

BHA chief executive, Ufi Ibrahim, said: “We’re delighted to welcome onefinestay as a member. The company has clearly developed a new style of home rental which we are proud to add to our growing family of hospitality businesses.

“I think it demontsrates how the hospitality industry is constantly evolving to meet the needs of its customers and how the BHA is a modern and inclusive organisation.”

Greg Marsh, co-founder and chief executive of onefinestay, added: “As a British born and bred company, we have the utmost respect for the BHA and their role as a voice for the UK hospitality industry. We are delighted to be joining the organisation.”
