An online live chat feature for UK agents has been created by Excite Holidays.
The idea is to enable retail consultants to speak to a member of the travel wholesaler’s agency support team without waiting in a queue, 24/7.
Once agents type in their query, they will receive an instantaneous response, the company claims.
Agents can still contact Excite Holidays by phone or email via an agency support centre which operates 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
Adrian Marpole, Europe head of sales, said: “We developed live chat as part of our ongoing commitment to customer service excellence.
“We wanted to provide our agents with an additional way to communicate with us and live chat allows them to receive real time answers to their booking questions.”
