Tesco Bank head of digital services, Saranjit Soor, has been named as chief technology officer at Key Travel.
Soor joins the travel management company having previously worked at Betfair and The Rank Group.
Key Travel specialises in the humanitarian, education and faith sectors.
Chief executive, Spence Knudson, said: “Saranjit’s appointment to a role that will now have a seat on the executive board reinforces the importance of technology to the future success of our business.

Soor said: “I am delighted to join Spence and the team at Key Travel at a time when we are launching our own proprietary online booking tool as the first deliverable in a £2 million investment programme.
“My role is to ensure technology enhances our customers’ travel programmes at a time when delivering both a compelling customer experience and continuing improvements in cost-efficiency can only be delivered with the support of specialist technology solutions.”
