Nectar and Expedia Inc have today announced the execution of a multi-year partnership.


Effective immediately, Nectar members can earn 1,000 points when booking a travel package including a flight through Expedia Inc’s UK website and 200 points when booking an individual flight, hotel or car rental.


“With the addition of Expedia to the base of partners, Nectar enhances its offering in the travel sector giving its members the opportunity to earn points as they holiday,” said Brian Sinclair, President of Nectar.


Expedia Inc and Nectar are leveraging their industry-leading brands to deliver a unique value proposition to UK consumers.


Expedia, Inc is the exclusive online travel company partner for earning Nectar Points in the UK and will reward UK consumers for eligible travel purchases made with any credit or debit card. In addition, travellers who book on Expedia.co.uk now earn Nectar Points on their travel purchases across multiple airline and hotel brands, giving them the flexibility to book the trip that’s right for them.

Expedia Inc’s goal was to launch a rewards programme for its customers that complemented the frequent traveller programs of its supply partners.


Now travellers can earn Nectar Points on top of any points or miles they would already be earning from an airlines’ frequent flyer or hotels’ frequent guest programmes.


With over 450 airlines available, nearly 80,000 properties to choose from and the facilities for collectors to build their own trip, Expedia.co.uk has a wealth of expertise that Nectar cardholders can take advantage of.
