Mar de La Fuente becomes global business director, having joined the company last year.

She previously worked for organisations including Tui Group and will oversee all commercial activities for lowcostbeds.

Adam Alford has relocated to the UK from Asia to take on the role of director for Europe and Asia Pacific.

He was based in Thailand as managing director of the region and is now responsible for distribution in Europe as well as Asia-Pacific.

He previously worked for Tui’s Hotelbeds business with roles in the US, Europe and Asia.

De la Fuente said: “We have recently added 20,000 global chain properties to our stock enabling us to now offer 300,000 hotels to three million customers every year.

“We are particularly focused on offering great value for money 4 and 5 star properties to our inventory in reaction to customer demand.”
