Air France customers in the UK and Germany can now buy their tickets online with PayPal. From the end of March the new service will also be available via the Air France booking app for tablet and mobile.

Air France customers in the UK and Germany can now buy their tickets online with PayPal.

From the end of March the new service will also be available via the Air France booking app for tablet and mobile.

Customers of the airline no longer have to enter their credit card numbers each time they make a booking.

Tjalling Smit, senior vice president digital, Air France-KLM, said: “We strive daily to optimize the booking experience for our customers, regardless of the sales channel they use.

Damien Périllat, general manager of PayPal in France, added: “Today, customers mainly purchase their air tickets online and thanks to this partnership with Air France, PayPal intends to make life easier for travellers.
