German ultra luxury line Hapag-Lloyd Cruises is to heighten its social media activity.
The company is to make use of three English-language social media outlets, with a strong focus on visuals.
Hapag-Lloyd Cruises has introduced its first English-language social media channel, on Twitter at @HLCruisesInt.
It will communicate the latest news, photos, and stories about its fleet of luxury cruise ships and expedition vessels via the messaging site.
The line will use Instagram and Pinterest to focus on its newest ship Europa 2.
The Instagram account MSEUROPA2 (#EUROPA2) will highlight the atmosphere and lifestyle on board the world’s highest ranked cruise ship.
On the Pinterest account various pins will visualize themes connected with the vessel such as cuisine, style and fashion, spa and wellness, and city guides.
The line says it is determined to reinforce its international strategy, focusing on luxury and expedition cruising, by growing its international marketing activities.
