Amadeus claims to have created the world’s first fully online GDS booking and fulfilment platform for agents.
The cloud-based booking platform is accessible anywhere from any device with internet access without complicated installation.
Selling Platform Connect allows real customisation and localisation capabilities to meet each business’ specific needs, both in the front and back office.
It can also be standardised across an organisation’s entire network.
A ‘Cryptic Magic’ tool that allows users to easily switch between cryptic and graphic content during any part of the booking process.
Commands from other GDSs can also be translated and converted from cryptic to graphic form, enabling travel consultants to use whichever method is quickest for them.
Amadeus is marking the introduction of Selling Platform Connect with a global competition to find the world’s most passionate travel consultant. The competition will run until October 31.
A jury will select three winners out of the top ten most voted videos in November.
The prize for the three travel consultants will be a professionally produced video promoting their business.
