TTE 2016: D-flo unveils TravelComms Ancillary Pack

An ancillary pack for data flow and document management firm d-flo’s TravelComms solution is launching at Travel Technology Europe 2016.

An ancillary pack for data flow and document management firm d-flo’s TravelComms solution is launching at Travel Technology Europe 2016.

TravelComms, which is used by brands including Hurtigruten and All Leisure Holidays, is designed to improve the customer experience between booking a holiday and departure.

The TravelComms Ancillary Pack is being launched in a bid to provide greater customer control and flexibility.

D-flo said it provides a simple, easy-to-use web interface whereby “users can easily apply their unique rules to ensure the relevancy of targeted ancillary travel products”.

Products such as airport parking, accommodation, business lounges, insurance, transfers and flight upgrades can then be automatically matched to individual customers.

Olympic Holidays has become the first TravelComms user to adopt the new pack and Holiday Extras is the first ancillary provider to be included within the Ancillary Pack.

Colin Brimson, business development director at d-flo, said: “There is a huge opportunity for tour operators to directly target their existing customers with ancillary products and in turn benefit from the untapped revenue potential it offers, plus provide added value and establish a really personalised service to gain their customers’ future loyalty.

“We are also excited that respected travel brands Olympic Holidays and Holiday Extras have decided to come on board as our initial launch partners of the TravelComms Ancillary Pack.”

James Lewis, head of partnerships at Holiday Extras, added: “This is a great opportunity for our industry partners – d-flo has created a product that takes care of the customer from start to finish and at the same time it makes the most of conversion and revenue.”
