Melt Content appoints former Lowcost marketing director as chief commercial officer

Former Lowcost Travel Group marketing director Helene Hall has joined content marketing digital agency Melt as it seeks to expand its list of travel clients.

She becomes chief commercial officer at the business which ranks Expedia, hotels.com and thetrainline.com among its travel accounts.

Hall led Lowcost Travel Group’s global marketing teams, covering nine European markets and the US, with a primary focus on the UK and Ireland.

Her experience also includes director-level roles at digital agency Gravytrain, where she held responsibility for search and digital marketing, and a period as global head of SEO at Holiday Autos.

She will be responsible for the marketing, search, outreach and business development teams at Melt.

Company founder Dan Hart said: “Helene isn’t just a hugely experienced and capable travel marketer, she’s also a passionate advocate for content who has real industry recognition.

“Bringing her on board really strengthens our team at what is a very exciting stage for the business. We’ve enjoyed a highly successful last 12 months and have won business from hugely credible brands such as Expedia, hotels.com, thetrainline.com and most recently News UK.

“Helene’s appointment will not only enable us to develop our existing customers, but will also help drive the Melt brand in the travel vertical and beyond. She will also be instrumental in our international plans.”
