Hotels4u.com is expanding its city hotel inventory following a partnership with Pegasus.

Through the deal hotels4u.com has access to last-room availability of more than 84,000.

The first release of 4,000 properties, including Accor, Inter-Continental Group, Marriott and Sol Melia, will be available on the website next week.

Hotels4u.com sales and marketing director John Harding said the deal had taken about five months to put in place.

“The additional hotels make the task of satisfying the exact requirements of customers much easier. It stands us in very good stead and illustrates we are a very serious player as one of only two or three companies to achieve this.”

Harding also said hotels4u was seeking to tie up its inventory through other distribution sources across Europe in destinations such as Russia.

He added that the strategy would help the accommodation supplier increase distribution outside the UK and move it towards becoming a more global player.

“It allows us to have a good feel of what is happening in these growing markets and key areas of our UK distribution such as Turkey are extremely important for the Russian market.”
