Travel portal AddictedToTravel has launched the second phase of its website with a string of new features and plans for flight meta search and a loyalty scheme.

The company was launched last year by three ex-First Choice executives from its adventure holidays division and has attracted investment from a European angel in recent months.

The new site has a improved navigation and other design features as well as destination content for nearly 70 countries.

Co-founder Nick Anstead told Travolution the site had attracted 120 tour operators in its first 12 months and hoped to include around 4,000 products by mid-2009.

The company is hoping to launch a loyalty scheme by the end of August and is in negotiations with a number of major meta search white label providers for flight functionality.

It is hoped the meta search element will be in place within three months.

The launch functionality of blogs and mapping remains on the new site and will be joined shortly by the ability to upload videos and photographs.
