OTA Sunshine.co.uk has relaunched the airportparking.co.uk website after taking the company over in the summer for an unspecified six figure sum.

OTA Sunshine.co.uk has relaunched the airportparking.co.uk website after taking the company over in the summer for an unspecified six figure sum.

Sunshine.co.uk is already behind a number of other specialised travel domains, such as airporttransfers.co.uk and tenerife.co.uk, and is seeking further acquisitions.

The redeveloped airport parking site went live in August with the OTA claiming the facelift is attracting “thousands of holidaymakers and business travellers in the market to book airport parking”.

Managing director, Chris Clarkson, said: “We’ve had our eye on airportparking.co.uk for a number of years.

“We’ve already expanded our offering on sunshine.co.uk to incorporate car hire, insurance, lounge bookings and such like and we own a number of other sites such as airporttransfers.co.uk which performs incredibly well.

“Sunshine.co.uk has had a hugely successful year to date and so we want to expand the business further by looking for further acquisitions that we could make.

“Following the re-development of the site, airportparking.co.uk is off to a flying start and is showing no signs of slowing down.”
